What you'll be doing...

As a Sr. Manager on the Consumer Home Marketing team, you will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, design, development, and evolution of end-to-end value propositions for Verizon's consumer home services. You will have accountability for creating differentiated positioning, packaging and pricing plans to drive household acquisition, total customer profitability, and lifetime value. In order to do so successfully, you'll have to gather deep insight on customer needs, market trends, industry dynamics, and business objectives. The value propositions you develop will serve our existing Consumer Home businesses and products, as well as exciting emerging service areas in streaming video and entertainment, gaming, Wi-Fi home coverage, and more.

You will have ownership over the evolution of the products and services we offer to home customers and will work collaboratively across the extended organizations covering product marketing, promotions, content acquisitions, partnerships, creative marketing, product development, finance, channel sales and service, network operations, and others - to make them a reality.

Define consumer strategy across all Verizon Home services based on evolving consumer needs, market insights, competitive dynamics and business objectives

Define and design Fios and FWA service tiers and additional offerings across Internet, TV, and other categories, including pricing and packaging, customer experience, acquisition strategy

Design, execute, and leverage consumer market research and competitive analysis, as well as home service industry benchmarking inside and outside of the Verizon Home footprint to inform program design

Design develop Verizon Home entertainment offerings, including Fios video packaging and pricing and OTT offerings

Development of program performance expectations, financial business case, and project approvals

Market positioning and operational strategy for launching new value props or evolving current market solutions through Verizon product development, partnerships, and operational delivery chain

What we're looking for...

Needs to have:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

4-8 years of experience in service portfolio management, product management, or strategy consulting.

Even better if you have:

MBA and/or technical degree

Experience developing and executing marketing strategies to achieve customer growth and accomplish strategic business objectives, ideally in a consumer service subscription business

A solid understanding of home internet and content industry dynamics, and macro market changes are a plus

Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills required to synthesize complex concepts into executive-ready communications

Experience with business case modeling and scenario analysis using advanced excel skills

Experience developing defining and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative consumer research and determining key insights

Demonstrated ability to participate in a positive, growth-oriented team culture, where individual contributors thrive and continuously improve their skills

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $130,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
