  About This Role:Our business applications team is seeking a motivated and experienced Salesforce Application Developer to support and enhance our Salesforce platform and its connected systems and integration.

  The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting Salesforce and the surrounding business systems and processes. We are a highly collaborative, agile team with a mix of business owners, architects, admins, testers, and support staff demanding high levels of engagement from all team members. You will get to be the multifaceted solution builder that you are and not just a back-office guru.

  As part of the Salesforce technical team, your mission will be to own the solutions you and the team build throughout the entire software development lifecycle. This includes supporting existing functionality as well as innovating new features. Your Salesforce platform knowledge and ability to stay current with every release will be key to making yourself and the team a relevant and critical part of achieving Forrester's goals.

  Job Description:Triage, scope, design, and build solutions to both support existing functionality and innovate on new features.Share stewardship of configuration and coding throughout the development lifecycle to maintain a tidy and scalable environment.Share your knowledge and solutions with both technical and nontechnical audiences as needed.Seek improvement of our development process, recommending and encouraging the team toward best practice and quality work.

  Job Requirements:A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.SFDC platform developer I and II certifications are preferred.Two-plus years' experience as a Salesforce developer in Apex and Visualforce.Two-plus years' experience with and proficiency in middleware, SOAP- and REST-based web services, XML, JavaScript, and service-oriented architecture design principles.Solid data design experience including extract, transform, load; synchronous and asynchronous messaging; and integration strategies between loosely coupled systems.Knowledge of integrated development environments such as Eclipse and deployment automation.

  Please note that the base salary range listed here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition; base salary will be dependent on an employee's primary working location and the employee's skills compared to the requirements of the role. At Forrester, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.

  Base salary range: $82,225 - $149,062

  For employees based in Washington State, the percentage listed here is an estimated bonus target as a percentage of base salary. Individual and company performance, as well as other eligibility criteria, will determine the actual incentive amount.

  Bonus target: 10%
