The Business Application acts as supplier, Business Partner and ultimately Growth Enabler for the Business. The Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor to his team (of Salesforce professionals) and internal clients. He recommends solutions by having a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and people skills to get his ideas and solutions across to stakeholders.
WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:
You lead and guidethe Salesforce business Application team composed of internal employees, external consultants and service providers, both for new implementation and maintenance
You conduct research into clients’ use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.
You collaborate with colleagues to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
You own the design of Salesforce solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions
You groom and refine the product backlog and organise sprint planning.
You supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce.
You organise user groups and build a network with functional management to identify areas where the applications can support and enhance business processes.
You work with developers to design and test extensions to the application functionality, write requirements and validate the quality of the implementation.
You lead the escalation handling: raise the flag, take ownership, propose action plan to direct peers in Corporate IT and with other internal stakeholders or external partners.
You troubleshoot questions/problems from the user community (based on good business process knowledge).
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:
At least 8 years’ experience in a leading role in delivering CPQ Salesforce projects
Various Salesforce certifications required. CPQ certification required
Experience with Salesforce and his ecosystem:CPQ, ServiceMax, PDF Butler, mobile app, ShowpadCommunity Platform, Pardot, Outreach, Ringlead, Mulesoft, Billing
Experience with functional scope or processes: Sales, Service, Marketing,Opportunity, Quote, Order to cash, Product
Experience with leading a team of Salesforce professionals onsite, nearshore and offshore
Strong communication and influencing skills to establish and maintain effective business relationships with business units and other associates
Strong verbal and written communications skills, being able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in English, both written & spoken
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships.
Desire to learn new concepts and take on new challenges
Experience with AX/D365 and/or BI is a plus
