Description

　　Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a Senior Indirect Tax Accountant for a 3+ month contract with a national Solar company located in Gilbert, AZ that will be responsible for processing and filing Sales/Use Tax in 27 states. The consultant will be reporting to the Tax Director, and this is a hybrid role working from home on Wednesdays.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Oversee the end-to-end sales tax compliance process.

　　Prepare and submit sales tax returns for relevant tax authorities (active in 27 states).

　　Research and interpret sales tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filings.

　　Assist in sales tax audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

　　Work closely with auditors to address queries and resolve issues efficiently.

　　Work closely with AP to ensure Sales & Use Tax is properly recorded and accrued as necessary.

　　Reconcile tax accounts, prepare appropriate journal entries and explain significant fluctuations.

　　Requirements

　　5+ years of multi-state Sales/Use Tax experience, preferably in public accounting.

　　Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field.

　　Organized, highly motivated and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

　　Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).

　　Ability to identify business challenges and opportunities and develop and suggest solutions independently.

　　High level of professionalism and positive demeanor.

　　Experience in the Solar industry preferred.

　　NetSuite experience helpful.
