Job Overview: Sales Specialists at The Outlaw Group support sales andbusiness development efforts for multiple brands including AVA Rafting &Zipline, Mile Marker Van Rental, Peak 1 Express, Black LabelTransportation, and Breckenridge Ski and Sport. This role involves handlingboth inbound and outbound sales and reservations, as well as collaboratingwith operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Job Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales and Business Development- Prospect for new B2B and B2C opportunities for all brands- Proactively reach out to potential customers and partners through outboundsales efforts to promote The Outlaw Group's various brands and offerings- Engage in outbound sales activity and networking in the community inadherence to established business development standards for all brands andmarkets- Create and maintain B2B booking partnerships with rafting outfitters,other outdoor recreation providers; hotels and lodging providers; travelagents; and other relevant entities- Help build a strong customer base for Mile Marker Van Rental,Breckenridge Ski and Sport, and Black Label Transportation services
Inbound Sales- Handle inquiries and requests from customers interested in adventuretours, transportation, equipment rental, and special event transportation- Manage all assigned leads with the utmost sense of urgency in accordancewith the company's lead response time standards- Be the point of contact for all large group reservation opportunities- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable packages, services, andrentals based on their preferences and needs- Process reservations, bookings, and payments accurately and efficiently.- Stay informed about the latest offerings, services, and updates acrossall brands. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your knowledgeand understanding of the products and services offered.
Account Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providingexceptional service and addressing their questions and concerns.- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their traveland adventure experiences.- Manage OTA relationships, contracts, listings, inventory, and reservations
Cross-Departmental Collaboration- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure brand success- Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot and resolve any guest serviceissues that may arise during the customer's journey.- Work closely with the operations team to coordinate and ensure seamlessexecution of guest experiences.- Communicate customer preferences, special requests, and any relevantinformation to operations to enhance the overall experience.
Manage Technology and Booking Platforms for All Brands- Help manage inventory and capacities on all reservation systems as needed - Troubleshoot system issues- Ensure that all 3rd party reservations systems have accurate informationand update as needed- Coordinate with Ops Managers to maintain trip capacities and customproducts
Required Experience & Skills:- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or thehospitality/travel industry is preferred.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with customers andteam members.- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.- Detail-oriented and accurate in handling high volume reservations andbookings.- Proficiency in using CRM platforms, reservation systems, telecom, etc- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
