Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Sales Rep for Aftermarket Services . The CISD team is responsible for growing and supporting sales of aftermarket parts and service for Construction Industries machines. As a Sales Rep, Aftermarket Services , you will play a vital role in growing aftermarket parts and services within the Pacific Northwest. You will be working in close collaboration with Western States, NC Machinery and Tractor & Equipment Co. to deliver on their targets, execute the Construction Industries Services Division’s strategy in those dealers’ respective territories and contribute to the key enterprise goal of doubling the aftermarket business by 2026.
Role Summary : Lead and manage relationships with dealers to achieve sales targets by focusing growth through parts and service sales, machine rebuilds, and customer value agreements. Assist in the development of dealer sales capabilities.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will collaborate with designated dealers to drive revenue and growth for the aftermarket solutions business in your assigned territory. To achieve this growth, you will collaborate closely with our dealer network to provide guidance to optimize dealer’s sales force effectiveness.
Strategic Responsibilities
Communicates the importance of customer needs/expectations and commits to resolving them.
Perform regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensures implementation of corrective actions where needed.
Seek understanding, document, and communicate internally on target customer requirements, business models, competitive landscape, and other market intelligence to ensure product groups and business partners are aware of product and customer needs.
Partner with dealers’ Parts & Service Sales Managers and their teams to influence sales force effectiveness.
Adopt and be an advocate for sales funnel management methods.
Collaborate with Aftermarket Services support teams to identify customer accounts for growth; develop and implement aftermarket solutions account plans.
Develop local action plans, using CRM and Customer Insights, to identify lost sales opportunities.
Drive eCommerce adoption and sales growth with target customers, with focus on activating dormant customers.
Identify and communicate opportunities for improving aftermarket solutions sales management, marketing, and operational capabilities at assigned dealers.
Partner with & influence other internal parties to ensure general customer needs are met for an effective commercial relationship.
Tactical Responsibilities
Deliver the annual total STU (Sales to User) business plan for the assigned dealer.
Develop and execute aftermarket services marketing campaigns leveraging predictive marketing leads for targeted customers in collaboration with dealers.
Optimize parts sales variance utilization within assigned budget to drive incremental top line revenue and key dealer actions.
Manage your Travel & Expense budget.
Analytical Responsibilities
Collaborate with assigned dealers to implement sales funnel management methods in relation to target customer segments (like Prioritized Service Events).Continuous Learning
Keep up to date with industry trends, changing technology and market regulations.
Maintain knowledge of Cat products by attending related conferences, training, and building relationships.
What You Have
Construction, heavy equipment, or related industry or aftermarket experience
Effective communicator and relationship builder
Strong negotiation, influence, and value selling skills
Business acumen and customer focus
Ability to travel 50-75% of working time
Acts with a sense of urgency
Accountable (takes ownership of dealer business and issues)

Experience in sales & marketing
Strong time management and organization skills
Experience prioritizing, growing, and executing plans to achieve metrics
Experience analyzing data for trends and market insights to make business decisions
Ability to translate goals into clear action plans that deliver results
Self-starter with strong initiative, ability to work autonomously, positive attitude
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Details
This is a travelling role (50-75%) covering customers in the US Pacific Northwest (Montana, Washington, Idaho, Alaska).
This role will ideally be based in Boise, ID or Seattle, WA. However, residence within the assigned territory may be considered as well.
Domestic relocation assistance is available to Boise or Seattle only.

Summary Pay Range:
$108,360.00 - $162,480.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
