MissionThe Solution Architect (SA) role architect innovative and replicable customer business processes with 3DS portfolio offerings. The SA accomplishes this mission collaboratively with account teams, customers, and technical experts to help translate business objectives, performance goals, and technical requirements to the 3DS portfolio. You will educate clients, identify client pains and opportunities for improvement, define and propose Industry Solutions Experiences(ISEs), Industry Process Experiences(IPEs) and architectures, prepare and deliver product demonstrations, explain the value of these solutions and support Proof of Value/Production pilots enabling our clients to fulfill their strategies & deliver value.
Responsibilities*Define the integrated Global Solution of the customer business processes while guaranteeing the final workability and relevancy of the solution*Be a change agent by assessing customer business processes and proposing new ways working with 3DS offerings*Collaborate internally and externally to arrive at the correct solution strategy*Effectively communicates technology direction, decisions, nuances, and tradeoffs across audiences, from leaders and subject matter experts*Demonstrate strong leadership and influence the client's transformation strategy*Act as an advocate of the customer within 3DS*Ability to design, practice, and lead a team towards strong technical presentations, including product demonstrations*Run fit gap analysis workshops, document the "To-be" processes, and demonstrate the product in a competent and professional manner with the goal of achieving our revenue targets.*Maintains best in class level of expertise.*Capitalizes on field activities
QualificationsThe Solution Architect takes an Enterprise Architecture approach to defining the solution, so experience or ability to learn systems modeling is required (e.g. Cameo Enterprise Architect)Experience within maintenance preferred - this role is for someone who wants to build end-to-end business and technical acumenDemonstrated expertise in one domain (e.g. MBSE, PLM, Manufacturing, Sustainment / MRO) or technical experience in multiple domainsHas experience developing architectures across a wide range of technologies or as a team member on major technology projectsAsks smart questions and probes diligently to build robust architectures and derive multi-year roadmaps from current state to future stateNot afraid to roll up their sleeves and learn the ins and outs of the product portfolio, usually collaboratively with SMEs, to ensure the proper solution strategyInfluential leadership skills to drive internal and external collaborationAbility to tailor communication to leadership or technical audiencesExperience participating in and preferably providing technical leadership on large projects and systemsAble to navigate matrixed organizationsAbility to build a strong network of stakeholders and contributors within the 3DS network
