We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So we’re searching for a Sales Manager with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our rooms, meeting suites and banquet halls.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Develop and manage customer accounts and travel within the local assigned geographical area (predominantly UAE cities and GCC countries) to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
Create and manage hotel sales and marketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business and use these plans to focus the sales efforts for all market segments
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and draw up action plans to work towards the budget
Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads.
Build and execute strategies for GCC source markets, corporate and government segments, including DMCs, TMCs, tour operators, travel agencies, local and brand corporate accounts, government and government entities
Conduct site inspections, webinars, presentations, hosted entertainment to clients.
Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities
Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
Attend Sales events and international sales missions, as required
Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures
Recruit, manage, train and develop the Sales team
What We need from you:
● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field
● Minimum of 2 years experience in the UAE with strong knowledge of GCC market, both corporate and government segments
● Experience in 5* resort
● Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required
● Native spoken and written Arabic, excellent spoken and written English are a must, another language is an advantage
● Flexible working hours, including willingness for out of office hour entertainment, travel, occasional weekend attendance as per business needs
● Hybrid working flexibility between Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah offices
● Must have valid UAE driving licence and car
