Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, architects, and contractors.
Develop a deep understanding of client needs and tailor solutions to meet their transportation requirements.
Sales Strategy:
Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
Collaborate with the executive team to set sales targets and objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Project Bidding:
Lead the bid process for transportation projects, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare comprehensive project proposals.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable projects.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Performance Metrics:
Track and analyze sales performance against targets.
Implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure objectives are met.
Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve sales strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the construction or transportation industry.
Strong understanding of construction trucking operations and logistics.
Demonstrated success in business development and project bidding.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
