　　Our Sales Engineer not only supports the sales process but also supports the customer with troubleshooting and resolution. In this role, you will consult with customers to analyze technical specifications and recommend best product configuration and installation process including hardware, software, and network requirements. You will provide both primary and advanced technical support to our customers to keep their license plate readers online and operating efficiently. Using strong written and verbal communication skills, you will develop and deliver technical product presentations to engage customers and prospects on our product capabilities. Your technical skills will be put to use in setting up, enhancing, and maintaining remote on-site and cloud based servers as well as supporting users in issue resolution. You'll keep new opportunities in front of us by staying current in the public safety field and generating ideas for new products to explore.

　　Someone who will excel in this role will be able to earn and maintain certification from our partner in both Fixed and Mobile LPR within the first six months on the job as well as other products as added. You will have demonstrated proficiency in Windows OS, Windows 10/11, Windows Server OS, Mac OS, Android OS, Azure Cloud, and enterprise level servers. You will have a working knowledge of firewalls, VPN, switch, and security configurations and knowledge of LAN/WAN connectivity. You will have at least two years of directly related experience, degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to be considered for the role. Prior experience in technical writing, working in a technical support role, data base troubleshooting are also foundational success factors.

　　This position will travel approximately 20% of the time. Position may be either onsite in Harrisonburg, Virginia or remote within the continental United States and with ready access to a major airport.
