About Sales Development Representative (Temporary Position)

  At Samba TV, we are on a mission to fundamentally change television viewing for everyone. We are doing this by leveraging our data to enable advertisers to engage and measure TV viewers across all their devices. We have an amazing story with a unique perspective formed by innovative technology.

  We're seeking an energetic, passionate, and tech-savvy Sales Development Representative with exceptional communication skills and creativity to join our Revenue team on a temporary basis. You will be the first point of contact with prospective clients and responsible for developing and qualifying leads by phone or email. You must thrive on identifying potential opportunities and navigating the client organizations to reach the right person. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in client facing roles in the future. 

  The Revenue team at Samba TV is collaborative and inclusive with strong leaders that drive growth for the business. This person will have the opportunity to learn from, and partner with seasoned commercial teams globally to build a strong foundation for their career. 

  This is a  temporary position and will report into the Global Client Success & Strategy team.

  Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Generate, contact, and qualify inbound and outbound leads.Align with Samba TV’s Revenue and Marketing leaders to target companies within specific industries.Create and strategically prioritize target account lists and align product messaging. Consistently generate qualified opportunities to achieve pipeline targets.Conduct high level conversations with contacts at target accounts.Conduct lead follow up activity based on marketing events and website inquiries.Become comfortable verbally delivering Samba TV’s product offerings to a wide range of potential customers.Successfully utilize multiple sales enablement tools simultaneously (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Outreach, DocSend, SalesLoft, Hubspot, others). Track all activity in CRM (Salesforce).Develop and contribute best practices to the Sales Development Playbook and share prospecting best practices across the Revenue org

  Qualifications:1+ years of prior work experience as a Sales Development Representative at a technology or Media companyBachelor’s degree from a 4-year university or 3+ years of relevant experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExcellent listening skills and energetic phone presenceProfessional, competitive, determined, and results orientedAdaptable and able to deliver success despite ambiguityDedicated to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basisCurious about understanding business challenges across a wide variety of advertising use casesDesire to learn a solutions-oriented approach to selling Samba TV productsExperience working with or qualifying Enterprise level clients preferredMotivated to set the foundation of a successful Revenue careerCRM experience (preferably Salesforce)
