  A stable company, is now looking for a Sales Consultant for the Greater Chicagoland market. We are seeking a confident, outgoing Sales Consultant who is self-disciplined and enjoys a challenge.   A Sales Consultant at company is responsible for presenting the company Promise for a completely satisfying turn-key installation of replacement windows to homeowners. Achieving individual sales goals by presenting a compelling case for customers to choose Pella. Understanding customer wants and needs is critical and the ability to translate our product offerings to match will help you be successful in this role. Striving for a first-time close and planning for and delivering effective follow up on the rest. Proactively seeking out new referrals through customer relationship networking will help you be successful in this role. Continually striving for a 100% “Very Satisfied” customer experience every time is a part of the company Promise.

  -Deliver a detailed sales presentation.

  -Prepare and present a price quote before leaving each appointment.

  -Follow up and respond to all customer questions within 24 hours.

  -Be available for customer appointments during evenings and Saturdays, in addition to weekday hours.

  -Reach out to sales leads and schedule in home appointments. Will travel to customers home to discuss product/service.

  -Close on first sales call

  -Leads will come from Pella but 30-40% of leads would be self generated by networking, referrals, trade shows, home and garden shows

  Work Environment

   Monday-Friday

  Remote role from home - sometimes will need to come into the office for meetings in Rockford.

  2-3 appointments per a day with customers on the road.

  once a month might need to work Sat appointment but would be given Friday afternoon off.

  if they don't have an appointment, then they would be working from home.

  Can work in any suburb of Chicago or downtown. Will work from home. Interviews will be conducted in Warrenville, IL and the managers sit in Rockford, IL.

  Can work in any suburb of Chicago or downtown. Will work from home. Interviews will be conducted in Warrenville, IL and the managers sit in Rockford, IL.

  • New Hire- $40,000 annual base salary + 0-1.25% commission for the time period required to provide new reps with their first 150 company generated appointments. Can go off sooner. This is enough “at bats” to be fully trained and ready for 100% commission.

  • Full Commission Plan- No annual base salary- can earn up to 5.05% commission on jobs sold (base on discount) and a draw of $1346.15 every 2 weeks.

  • Monthly bonus opportunity based upon monthly actual bookings once Rep R90 gross close target is met or exceeded. Payout is 2.5% for booking <75% of quota attainment and 4.00% for booking >=75% of quota attainment.

  • Mileage reimbursement at current IRS limit (for new hire and existing consultants).

  Can be located anywhere in Illinois but from northern IL to

  Chicago is the biggest market and best performing branch.

  IRS .65 a mile

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  Must Haves:

  -1-2 years of sales experience (Retail sales, corporate sales, outside sales, inside sales) OR Bachelors Degree with 0 experience

  -Reliable transportation for driving to client locations

  -Sales skills/Willingness to learn how to sell services and products

  Nice Haves:

  -Previous sales experience

  -College Athlete

  -Bachelors Degree

  -Sales internship experience

  Soft Skills:

  -Hunter mentality

  -Self-motivated
