Sales Administrator - Environmental & Mining Sales Support
(Full time position)
As a Sales Administrator , your main responsibilities are as below:
The sales administrator has to provide overall administrative support to the Senior Director of Mining Strategy and Ontario Sales, including travel support, SalesForce team maintenance, expense reports, monthly business unit reporting, and client support. In addition, support customer events and trade shows as required.
Ownership and management of sales team directory, safe keeping of customer presentations and training material
Coordination and process improvement for proposal and quote preparation
Pricing and quotation coordination, including annual increases and finalization with Revenue Management Office (RMO)
Word processing support to proposals and letters
Opportunity tracking, web inquiry owner for assigning new leads
CRM specialist (Salesforce), completeness and tracking of team opportunities
Complaint and resolution tracking
Support to conference planning and preparation, including in person support as required
Support to Senior Director, timesheet approval, travel, expenses, etc
Support to contract management, maintaining momentum using CPAi software platform
Content owner and planner for sales team meetings
Customer Portal client set up and support with implementation
Administrative support to mining market leaders and Ontario account managers as determined by Senior Director
Cooperation and coordination of functions and events with National Events Coordinator
Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
Assist in the collection of information for the larger proposals that the team prepares.
Coordinate completion of team collateral (swag) with BD/marketing teams
Present a professional image at all times to customers both internal and external
Present price and terms in accordance with standard procedures
Adhere to the Bureau Veritas Code of Ethics Policy
Follow company policies and procedures
Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
Ensure Quality Standards are maintained
Maintain current employee training file
Adhere to and participate with all QA\QC policies of the organization
Other support duties, as assigned
You are the ideal sales Administrator , if you have:
Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education in a related discipline to our industry (i.e. Sciences)
Minimum of 2 years of related experience (i.e. Sales, administration)
Proven experience with inside sales and account management combined with effective administrative skills
Previous experience in event planning (preferred)
Previous experience in the environmental/mining field is an asset
Extremely organized, exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
Exceptional communication and writing skills
Good record keeping skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
Experience with Client Relationship Management software (Salesforce)
Ability to build relationships and work closely with diverse groups of individuals
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Results driven, action oriented and motivated
