KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee day-to-day work activities whileadministering the safety program Conduct periodic safety evaluations ofteam members Perform audits to ensure processes and procedures arefollowed to company standards Partner with Operations to help resolvefacility and customer issues Conduct accident investigations and takesteps to ensure safety policies are understood and followed Lead safetyand quality meetings to communicate new or changing policies andprocedures and address team member\'s issues Monitor warehouse safetysupply inventory and notify Operations of replacement needs Maintainaccurate and up-to-date recordkeeping systems including logs, binders,and other records ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Attend companyor third-party trainings and other events requested by OperationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) High School diplomaor GED Knowledge of country\'s safety regulations/standards, governingbodies, and employer obligations for work-related injuries Proficientcomputer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills Ability to work in temperatures as low as-20 Fahrenheit in cold storage sites or up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit indry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protectiveequipment and freezer gear Must be comfortable with various noiselevels, at times, can be loud
