　　A client of ours in the manufacturing industry located in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Safety Representative to manage the safety of a team of 40-50 technicians. This position is responsible for updating safety policies and procedures, conducting annual safety trainings, conducting employee drug screenings, and managing the safety certifications and licensing for all employees in the field. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

　　salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

　　shift: First

　　work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

　　Responsibilities

　　Assists with company compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations required in a manufacturing environment.

　　Reviews and analyzes company safety practices by conducting audits, determines any recommendations based on audits performed, and reports to upper management.

　　Collects and maintains essential data for effective safety programs.

　　Assists with keeping accurate and complete records of training, inspections, audits, and required regulatory documentation.

　　Coordinates and leads annual Safety trainings for employee certifications and licensing and for jobsite specific training.

　　Performs jobsite audits with field employees to insure compliance with Safety procedures.
