MOVE Staffing is looking for a Safety Coordinator! The Safety Director will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the company's safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment that follows all OSHA, State, and Federal regulations on green field construction projects, plant expansions, shutdowns, and general maintenance, as well as oversee safety and health throughout the fabrication shops at Pioneer. It will be the Safety Director's responsibility to oversee company goals regarding safety, training, workers compensation, and pre-job safety documentation. This will be achieved by coordinating training,administration, and by supporting supervisors, and other employees to ensure they are in line with and comply with governmental, company, and client policies.Other Duties and Responsibilities• This position reports directly to CEO.• Control's safety compliance concerns and preventative actions while ensuring OSHA safety compliance• Ensures that federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules are observed.• Heavily involved with pre-job planning and documentation.• Heavily involved with workers compensation.• Monitors D.O.T. compliance and regulation.• Oversees compliance of third-party data management of ISnet, Avetta, and other management systems.• Manages, tracks, and prepares all safety data required per OSHA reporting requirements.• Directs management, site superintendents, and personnel to promote and ensure safe work practice and conditions.• Development of safety programs.• Oversee work practices, procedures, training, equipment selection, tools, etc.• Ensure that all incidents, near misses, safety infractions/violations, concerns etc. are reported and corrected.• Perform and/or assist with investigations of all incidents.• Analyze safety problems and recommend solutions to those problems.• Perform other duties as assigned by CEO.
