Description: This position is to manage and lead innovative projects to improve and drive commonality to certification process and test across Safety Critical Systems across all platforms with Aeronautics (F-16, F-22, AMMM, F-35, and ADP). The focus on driving commonality of the certification process across the platforms (F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM, and ADP) for DO-178, 516, SEAL, Hybrid in collaboration with CE Office that will simplify certification and workforce development.

　　The candidate will also drive architecture improvements to allow multi-core processor for safety critical for updated platforms (F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM, and ADP). Additionally will provide technical support and guidance to modernized safety critical software and test approach for future platforms (F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM, and ADP) and will manage, lead, and work the “best of 3” projects aligned with safety critical systems portfolio.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　• A bachelor’s degree or above in a computer science, computer engineering or related engineering discipline

　　• 15+ years of software development experience with multiple technologies

　　• Experience with DO-178, -516, and SEAL process

　　***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 5 years required to be considered.***

　　• Experience working in technical teams across a virtual environment

　　• Experience in Safety Critical software teams

　　• Strong technical leadership experience with ability to work with ambiguous requirements and developing technical roadmaps

　　Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

　　Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
