About SaaS Account Executive (Recreation)

  DaySmart Recreation services a variety of customers, from NHL teams to indoor sports centers, school districts and municipal parks and rec departments.  Our solution helps these businesses and government organizations manage their resources for: leagues, classes, camps, parties, corporate events, and other programming to help promote health and enrich lives.

  As we continue to grow, we are looking for a results-driven, motivated go-getter, to help drive business for our Recreation sales team as an Account Executive. This position is responsible for qualifying prospects, identifying the best opportunities, and then articulating how our solution is the best fit for the client.  

  The position works in a vastly engaging, fun and fast-paced sales environment. The opportunities to help businesses tend to their staff and help address the needs of their diverse customers in the sports and recreation industry is endless.

  Key Job Functions:

  Generate leads and interest for the solution

  Devote a large portion of your day to outbound prospecting activities through various outbound efforts: phone, e-mail, and texting.  Qualify prospects quickly to assess the business opportunity

  Own/Manage a pipeline of various sized prospects with a 90-day forecast

  Build rapport with and guide clients through the sales process through constant discovery by learning their business

  Become a subject matter expert on the product and how it employs industry best practices. Being sports minded or exposure to the business side of this industry is a plus.

  Efficiently follow up with prospects to drive to closure

  Leverage client referrals, associations, and networking to build sales pipelines

  Plan, organize, and oversee RFP responses.  

  Update and manage leads, opportunities and accounts using Salesforce

  Achieve all planned sales objectives, metrics, and targets monthly and quarterly by proactively selling to prospective new customers

  Coordinate with other departments to provide tailored solutions, finalize legal contracts and billing

  Attend industry trade shows

  Some travel may be required, including travel to industry trade shows and conferences

  Desired Skills & Experience:

  2-3+ years of consultative sales experience with a SaaS software provider or industry experience

  Experience with outbound sales

  Experience selling in the sports and/or recreation space

  Demonstrated knowledge of managing sales relevant activities in a CRM platform

  Proven experience effectively presenting technology and articulating the benefits of implementing complex solutions

  Must be comfortable performing online and in person sales presentations to Director level management and subject matter experts

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills that drive engagement and are persuasive

  Excellent interpersonal and team skills that drive collaboration and sound decisions

  Ability to negotiate contracts

  Ability to navigate within a complex, multi-department corporate environment
