This position is for an entry level product and innovation role in the Verizon Global Network & Technology organization. In this role you be responsible for assisting with driving idea generation to commercialization through the New Product Innovation process to influence stakeholders to adopt the concept for commercialization. This includes defining and overseeing external partner evaluation, prototyping, beta trials etc.

As an Entry Level Product Engineer you will:
Supporting development, driving and executing the product roadmap for the Consumer Home product portfolio, applying design thinking principles and considering user needs, market trends, and business goals.
Conducting user research, gathering customer insights, and identifying new product opportunities to drive product enhancements and differentiate our offerings in the market.
Research and provide input on ML algorithms and tools.
Analyze and gather input in areas including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile.
Develop one's skill set and staying up-to-date on developments in the field.
Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
Working closely with the design team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences, applying design thinking principles to ensure seamless interactions and delightful user journeys.
Run machine learning tests.
Develop, test, deploy and maintain machine learning system software.
You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.
In this hybrid full time position, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid role will be based out of Basking Ridge, NJ.
