Responsibilities
The Research & Technology Business Management Specialist/Business Analyst will serve as the primary support person for all performance tracking and reporting of the Global R&T and Innovation Team. As part of the tracking and reporting, this individual will be responsible for the collection, planning and progress tracking for all functional work packages; creation of annual governance plans for dashboard metrics; management of trackers for annual conferences, tradeshows, and leadership speaking opportunities; and coordination, integration, analysis, development, and packaging of executive briefing package(s).
This position will be responsible for compiling and analyzing performance metrics and other data to help support Senior Leadership's needs for making data-informed decisions. This will require the usage of varying techniques including data aggregation, data mining, data analysis, and reporting. Reporting will include providing trend analysis to manage, interpret data and give accurate information to influence multi-function teams to make informed business decisions throughout the organization and company levels. This individual will have a key role in designing and continuously improving the reporting and analytics processes.
This individual will work in a team environment, is customer focused and can consult with multiple functions (operations, finance, human resources, quality and other business managers) to develop fully integrated solutions and information.
Key Requirements and abilities for the position:
· Strategic metrics and program view – can see enterprise view
· Support story telling – visualization for executive program reviews
· Building operational metrics analytics capability and sustainability
· Ability to design and develop reports and analytics within current suite of products
· Ability to perform in-depth analysis to identify performance variance and trends
· Excel analysis encompassing pivot tables, Vlookups and HLookups
· Advanced PowerPoint skills with critical and creative thinking in chart development
· Ability to be planning and analytics focused

· Prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in: Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance
Experience / Knowledge
· 5-7 years’ experience
o Internal - Business / Finance / Industrial Planning
o Business Perspective / Business Acumen / Analytics
· Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel Skills (V-lookup, H-lookup, pivot tables, advanced formulas, charting, etc.)
· Familiarity with and ability to use Microsoft PowerBI, PowerAutomate, and SharePoint lists a plus
· The individual needs to be detail-oriented and a self-starter with strong written, including executive-level presentations, and oral communication skills.
