We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift (1st Shift to Train)
Responsibilities:
Reviews work instructions, blue prints and other specifications to determine production operations, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece.Attaches fixture to machine bed and loads machine according to work instructions using clamps, bolts, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments, etc.Assembles cutting tools in tool holders and positions tool holders in machine as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools in specified machine heads.Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions assuring that part is produced in accordance with specifications.Measures work piece dimensions using calipers, micrometers and a variety of gauges to determine accuracy of machine operation according to the process control plan.Performs minor tool changes between part families.Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece.May sort non-conforming or deviant parts.Position requirements:
These positions will be machine operation in a team environmentPrevious knowledge/experience in machine operations, troubleshooting, use of gauging and measuring instruments, blueprint reading, and adherence to safe work environment practicesPositions will require attention to detail and quality assurance.
