Candidate must have strong workingknowledge and experience (minimum 5 years) on Gulfstream Large Cabinaircraft serviced at Gulfstream Appleton. Education and ExperienceRequirements High School Diploma or GED required. 8 years AviationMaintenance experience to include 4 years of experience working onGulfstream mid/large size aircraft required. PositionPurpose: Expert Aircraft Technician that works independently and in aleadership role as necessary to perform a variety of aircraft mods andmtc functions. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Perform required. periodic mtc and necessaryservicing of all acft mechanical systems. Must demonstrate the abilityto consistently perform assigned maintenance task within the quoted orstandard CMP time . Provide work direction for assigned techs. Promotehigh standards of quality through instruction and example . Act onbehalf of lead in their absence and assume duties and responsibilities(to include leading team meetings) when assigned . Coordinate withinspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection anddocumentation requirement . Properly identify (tag) customer propertyand equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer propertysecurely and safely . Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating GSE. Operateand supervise use of special support equipment in removal andinstallation of major components . Coordinate movement of aircraft asrequired. Act as mentor and assist in training new employees in CMPs,maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations,Solumina, RS compliance records, and all maintenance of majorcomponents. Sign off OJT records as required. Coordinate with otherdepartments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer propertyas needed . Participate in SMS, including investigations andparticipation in Site Safety Council . Assist or lead problem solvinginitiatives and process implementation. Support Lean activities . Assistin problem solving to establish or correct planning methods for aircraftprojects by utilizing standard techniques, procedures, and criteria .Assess strengths and weaknesses of assigned members.
