Able to read generaldrawings/schematics. 2nd shift position Mon - Thurs (4 days x 10 hourshifts) Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GEDrequired. Entry level position. Six (6) months accredited schooling inaviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred. Generalknowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customerspecifications. Must know how to use a multimeter. Position Purpose:Under moderate supervision, assists in the removal/installation ofavionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses,installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests ofavionics/electrical systems . Job Description Principle Duties andResponsibilities: Essential Functions: Assists in installations,modifications and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components,fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints,worksheets, and engineering drawings. Assists with the completion oftasks within allotted time frame. Assists with maintaining required.logs and records. Complies with the company FOD program, tool controlprogram, 5-S program and all safety regulations. Additional Functions:Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned bySupervisor. . Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred. and/orsuccessful completion in current year youth apprenticeship programsponsored by Gulfstream, in area of expertise. Ability to read andinterpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. Strong written andverbal skills required. Computer skills and general software knowledgenecessary. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand theEnglish language.
