Description:
Candidates will be tap off boxes, switchgear units, remote power panels, and mechanical power distribution units. The openings are in both the mechanical and electrical areas, largest need is in mechanical currently. Candidates may be in the mechanical/ (busway and tap off box assembly department) or electrical/(switch, RPP, PDU department). Will be assembling small units, they are fairly easy and mechanical skills are a must. Must be proficient with using hand and power tools and be mechanically inclined.
Candidates will have to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings-When assembling data bar units, the components are comprised of metal parts and must be able to fasten, drill, attach and assemble/build complete unitsPerform control wiring throughout the individual units if in electrical areaAll candidates should be flexible to all general labor duties as assigned including stocking, inventory, or unwrapping raw materialsWill be using hand and power tools to perform assemblyWill be reading drawings to understand what part or replacement part is needed to assemble the finished productsMust be able to work at a production pace as they have a certain goal per day for how many units must be completed and this will vary each dayhaving good job tenure/ reasons for leaving is important
LOT of opportunity to grow as the company is growing a ton, and there will be needs for down the road in lead positions. Company also recently added a fabrication department and are installing an automated paintline by the end of the year. This will allow the company to full manufacture and distribute final units independently which should result in more customer additions, and quick turn around times for order completions/ shipped units.
