We are seeking aRegistered Nurse: * Utilize evidence-based practice and become part ofa team who encourages and helps one another succeed. * Work on a 15-bedheart and vascular surgical unit with both general and intermediatelevel patients; interventions in this unit may include chest tubes,feeding tubes, PCAs, insulin drips, vasoactive drips, heparin drips andmultiple drains. * Work with a variety of vascular surgical and cardiacsurgical step down patient populations, including abdominal and thoracicaneurysm repairs, both open and endovascular, carotid endarterectomies,limb saving lytic therapies, lower extremity bypasses and amputees. *Participate in shared governance, with a unit-based council to helpsupport and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practicechange. * Work in an environment that is patient-and-family focusedincluding daily care team visits with the entire team but mostimportantly the patient is an active participant in their care plan. Preferred Relevant RN Experience Licenses andCertifications: Minimum Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Stateof WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted thenurse licensure compact. Current CPR/BLS Certification. ACLS obtainedwithin six (6) months of hire.
