This position will document regulatory compliance tasks specific to various inventory updates as well as conduct facility waste evaluations and life safety evaluations.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Proficiency with MS OfficeExcellent verbal and written language skillsExcellent Team player & Leader and Team Building SkillsAbility to use a safety management system including the skillset to extract and analyze trend data.Ability to read and understand complex laws, regulatory guidelines, and technical documentsAbility to successfully manage programs, processes, strategies, relationships and projects.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw data driven conclusions.JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification RequirementsEnrolled in undergraduate/graduate four year ABET accredited EHS curriculumValid driver's licenseExperience greater than 12 months preferred in a manufacturing environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Must be able to travel between facilities and to walk around facilities in order to make observations with respect to safety practices and conditionsMust be able to access elevated levels of facility in order to make the necessary observations in order to complete the jobMust be capable of moderate lifting in order to complete the jobManual dexterity for completion of technical tasksMust be physically capable of utilizing respiratory protection equipmentWORK ENVIRONMENTTime split between climate controlled office environment and manufacturing & Logistics environments; requires use of appropriate PPE (e.g., Safety-Toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.We are an equal opportunity employer.
