(Referral amounts prorated based on FTE) The RegisteredNurse (RN) Team Coordinator serves as a lead clinical resource withinthe ambulatory clinic or specialty clinic through the provision ofexcellent ambulatory nursing care with a patient centered approach toall interactions. The RN Team Coordinator is responsible for providingsupervision and leadership to patient care team staff in the PatientCare Services Department. The RN Team Coordinator possesses strongclinical, leadership, education, and advocacy skills. The RN TeamCoordinator has responsibility for the day to day operations of apatient care team and for working collaboratively with the other teamcoordinators and Clinic Managers at their respective clinic sites. TheRN Team Coordinator functions as a resource person for nursing staffregarding clinic operations issues. Additionally, the RN TeamCoordinator functions in various clinical roles, providing telephonetriage, patient education, direct patient care, anticipatory guidance,care coordination, and evaluation of nursing staff performance. Theincumbent works under the guidance and supervision of the ClinicManager. Provider staff may delegate activities to a Registered Nursewithin the licensing and RN scope of practice within the State ofWisconsin. NOTE: This position is regularly exposed to blood bornepathogens, diseases, and cleaning/sterilization solutions.
