　　Position Description: RN

　　BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pulmonary Medical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. This is a PCU unit with respiratory/pulmonary patients, they have all private rooms and get a lot of patients out of the ICU. This unit takes care of ventilated patients.

　　The RN responsibilities include:

　　Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

　　Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

　　Professional accountability and development.

　　Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Why BayCare? 　　BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

　　RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

　　ACLS Certification, if required by department

　　Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education:

　　Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required

　　Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience:

　　1 year of RN experience in acute care or 6 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required. Specific Skills:
