  Department: Ascension Travel Program - Interim Managers, Emergency Room , PeriOP, ICU and Med/Surg

  Schedule: Full Time

  Hospital: St Agnes MD and St Francis KS

  Location: Baltimore, MD (ER and PeriOp Manager ) Wichita, KS ( Med/Surg and ICU Manager)

  Must be willing to travel over 50 miles from your permanent residence to the facility. Will serve as an Interim Travel Nursing leader with the potential to serve various Ascension hospitals. Emergency Room Manager , PeriOp , ICU and Med/Surg manager needed

  Responsibilities

  Manage activities, workflow and resources of assigned nursing travelers.

  Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for their assigned team.

  Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned team. Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.

  Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

  Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff

  Requirements

  Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  Education:

  Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.Additional Preferences

  Additional certifications will be required depending on RN specialty.Management experience as an Emergency Room manager, Peri op manager or Med/Surg manager.
