　　 BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:

　　· System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available

　　· Region Float Pool-float between a region of ER’s

　　· Seasonal Pool (must live more than 100 miles from all hospitals) and only offered between November-May

　　Current needs for positions above are for Region 3: Winter Haven Hospital - Winter Haven, FL, Bartow Regional Medical Center - Bartow, FL, South Florida Baptist Hospital - Plant City, FL

　　The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

　　· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

　　· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

　　· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

　　· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

　　Requirements:

　　· Registered Nurse license

　　· BLS, ACLS and PALS are required.

　　· Associate degree in nursing (ASN)

　　· 18 months current RN experience in an acute ER setting is required.

　　· 2 years current RN experience in an acute ER setting is strongly preferred.

　　· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.

　　· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.

　　· Flexibility

　　· Travel Nurse experience preferred.

　　· CEN preferred.

　　Location: BayCare Hospitals, current needs are for Region 3 (see details above)

　　Status: Pool, Exempt: No

　　Shift Hours: 6:45pm--7:15am and 6:45am - 7:15pm

　　Shift: Shift 3

　　Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

　　Weekend Work: Every Other

　　On Call: No
