FTE: 0.500000 Shift: Shift 1 Work schedule: Every other Tuesday,and every Thursday and Friday Job Summary: The Staff RN - AmbulatoryServices works collaboratively as an active member of theinterprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and familycentered care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services systematically andcontinuously collects and assesses data related to patient health statusto develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN -Ambulatory Services utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions andpractice related to individual and population health. The Staff RN -Ambulatory Services establishes goals and strategies for meeting carecoordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/orother care providers. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services considersfactors related to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability inplanning and delivering care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Servicesdelegates and supervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice.The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services participates in continuous qualityimprovement initiatives and assumes responsibility for theirprofessional development. Major responsibilities of this role willinclude one or more of the following: o Perform/direct ACLS oIndependent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation o Administration ofadvanced lifesaving medications o Independent, templated (\"RN-only\")visits for patient assessment, with action taken based on establishedprotocols and/or clinical practice standards using clinical judgement todetermine intervention timing/specifics. o Specialty patient educationwhere certification/additional certificate is required for role (listedin job requirements) o Sedation o Telemetry monitoring &interpretation/management of rhythm changes o Assisting with complexprocedures - (RN doing care / work on patient, or RN has role intreatment / procedure, etc.) o Advanced wound therapy (VACs,debridement, etc.) o Central line management (TPA administration) andmaintenance (dressing / cap changes, access / flushing) o Deviceinterrogation and interpretation with resultant action o Complexinfusions (concurrent infusions, hazardous medication administration,blood and blood products, etc.) Work may also include patient carecoordination, direct patient...
