　　Responsibilities

　　Position Summary:

　　Provides basic nursing care and administers Chemotherapy to patients following accepted nursing standards.

　　MMC policies & procedures and physician's orders.

　　Leads nursing aspect of quality control improvement and research studies.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum

　　Must have at least 2 years acute care experience preferably in cancer nursing.

　　Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license with the state of California.

　　Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.

　　Must possess and maintain a current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS certificate) prior to administering chemotherapy.

　　Must be ACLS Certified by 09/01/11. Must possess and maintain a current ONS Certification or obtain one within 90 days of employment.

　　Chemotherapy-competency Certification required prior to administration of Chemotherapy.

　　Preferred

　　Bachelor's degree in nursing and national certification.

　　Knowledge in radiation/chemo protocols computerization and documentation skills.

　　Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

　　$56.22 - $73.97/hour
