The Chattanooga Heart Institute offers the most comprehensive cardiac care available in this region. Founded in 1976 we now have six offices in Tennessee and one in Georgia. Our practice is made up of 29 board-certified cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons. We merged with CHI Memorial Health Care System in 2011 which is part of CommonSpirit Health. CommonSpirit has more than 700 care sites across the U.S. and is committed to building healthy communities.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Coordinate most effective action to assist patients with medication and patient assistance.

Essential Responsibilities:

Communicate timely with outside offices and providers who are requesting risk stratification for our mutual patients.

Triage patient appropriate per periprocedural cardiac risk evaluation algorithm.

Review and complete appropriate patient documentation for periprocedural cardiac risk evaluation following algorithm approved by physician group.

Coordinate as needed with clinical staff member assigned to Periprocedural Antithrombotic Management form.

Assist PA/FMLA RN when assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate from an accredited LPN program with one year in a clinical nursing setting.License/Certification :

Valid Tennessee LPN license

BLS Certification.

Qualifications:

Cardiology experience a plus.

Knowledge of EHR systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range

$17.89 - $24.60 /hour
