About Risk and Compliance Specialist

  About the Team:

  The Identity team is the first of its kind support initiative which is currently aligned to serving markets across regions. The primary objective of this team is to do an investigation in the risk domain pertaining to Compliance or Fraud and make decisions. The team also works to generate insights and feedback on improving process efficiency or dollar saving.

  What the Candidate Will Do:

  Work on content development in case of gaps in the SOPs/KB pagesPitch in for facilitating training, onboarding as well as refresher trainingsWork along with TLs on improving the team's TPH, R2, insights & impact metric.Chip in ideas to run new experiments and help with implementation of the same.Support with policy updates, outages, RCA, Audits if required.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Proven track record to provide detailed support for blocking issues and be the go-to person for any policy related concernsStrong analytical skills in identifying trends and insights. Proven understanding of Google sheets is a must.Work in a 24x7 support environment, pro-actively take initiatives/ suggest improvements and work closely with the TLs in carrying out projectsAbility to train new hires, floorwalkers and set up them up for success when they start of productionBe a positive doer and strong Uber culture advocate; support the team in the TL's absence. Outstanding verbal and written skills

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Must be in the current roles for 6 months at leastSQL knowledge is a bonusExtensive experience taking care of different risk, safety or compliance teams and having a good understanding of Fraud is a must

  Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity.
