Job Description

In this internship opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals, and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Not only will you get to know how things work in the industry, but you will also accumulate advanced technical knowledge and skills, valuable experience, and explore full-time job opportunities at Skyworks. Responsibilities:

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Working with experienced engineers to test/develop multi-chip modules

• Setting up test benches as required and performing calibration

• Collecting test data using standard RF test equipment

• Trouble-shooting and resolving test/bench or technical issues

• Collaborating with other engineers and technicians

Required Skills and Experience

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) BS or MS programs

• Commitment to working on-site for up to 6 months

• Strong desire to learn, grow, and make an impact

• Strong career interest in RF/microwave testing and engineering

• Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others

• Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience in the lab using standard RF instruments

• Knowledge of coding

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
