　　Job DescriptionSEAKR is seeking a talented and highly motivated RF Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have experience in the design, development, andtesting of RF hardware for space applications, as well as a strongunderstanding of RF systems and technologies.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Design, develop, and test RF hardware for space applications, includingsoftware defined radios.Work with other engineers to develop and implement RF system architectures.Perform RF system analysis and simulation, including at the payload level,with an understanding of the signal chain from the antenna to the radio andbacExperience in developing system link budgetsDevelop and execute RF test plans.Interact with customers and vendors to gather requirements and resolve issues.Stay up-to-date on the latest RF technologies.Assist in proposal and business development efforts as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.3+ years of experience in RF engineering.Experience in the design, development, and testing of RF hardware forspace applications.Experience using high-speed ADCs and DACsStrong understanding of RF systems and technologies.Experience with RF circuit design software (AWR Microwave Office preferred).Experience with schematic capture (Mentor Graphics tools preferred).Experience with RF analysis using tools including (but not limited to) AWRMicrowave Office, AWR VSS and Ansys HFSS.Experience with high-speed clocking solutions for RF components.Understanding of DSP and modulation concepts.Experience with high profile briefings to internal executives and customers.Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (hardware/software) toproduce advanced RF payloads and/or digital systems.Proven ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, perform tradestudies, conduct major design reviews (e.g. PDR and/or CDR).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstratedability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers.Hands-on hardware experience with flight hardware.Knowledge of RF test and measurement.Excellent Microsoft office skills.Additional InformationCompensation: Base pay range is $85,000 - $140,000 depending onqualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insuranceplans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to basesalary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a varietyof paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
