Description:

　　Radio Frequency (RF) Integration & Test (I&T) engineer capable of working with a technical team to successfully deliver integrated communications solutions across various internal research & development and customer contracted efforts. The RF I&T Engineer will report to the Vice President of Engineering.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities

　　Work with System Engineers and various engineering disciplines to ensure accuracy of test products and determine if outputs meet project/customer requirements

　　Based on customer requirements, lead the development and execution of component, unit, and system test cases.

　　Create effective and focused testing plans, strategies, procedures and reports.

　　Conduct testing on various RF based systems including radios, satellite communications equipment, and microwave systems

　　Create or provide input for technical documentation including Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), system requirements and integration documents (such as Interface Control Documents).

　　Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures and techniques.

　　Configure power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, oscilloscope, and other miscellaneous test equipment to support RF testing

　　Define and implement automation processes to ensure accuracy and repeatability

　　Utilize Python and associated packages to support test automation: Pandas, PySNMP, PyVISA, and SCPI

　　Customers: They are supporting the Army and Air Force as primary users.

　　Current projects: Government project, radio systems, something that goes on a mast pole, doing a point to point tied communication. A product called Global Link, allows users to connect them together and gives them network capability access, Handheld radios. They get new projects all the time.

　　Experience operating and configuring Radio Frequency systems and components

　　• Experience supporting U.S. Government programs

　　• Experience developing high-level hardware architectural designs

　　• Degree is a huge plus at least technical training.

　　• Military development programs a plus.

　　• Have done test readiness

　　experience operating and configuring hardware test instrumentation to perform complex unit and system tests

　　• Configure power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, oscilloscope, and other miscellaneous test equipment

　　• Experience automating complex tests using software languages such as Python

　　• Exclusively using python for automation. At least have Pandas and Pyvisa but others would be a plus. Must be good with python.

　　Strong documentation experience. For example, experience producing test plans, procedures, reports as well as schematic documentation
