Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services.

  Duties & Responsibilities:

  · Prepares and manages weekly billing activities and invoice submissions.

  · Reconciles payments and perform denial research using database queries and spreadsheet analysis.

  · Prepares and re-submits corrected claims or invoices as needed.

  · Interacts with clients and staff to obtain project knowledge and achieve overall goals.

  · Establishes improved systems functionality to ensure claims are properly reconciled to the payroll

  accounting system.

  · Performs business to business collection activity as needed to maintain low and current receivable

  balances.

  · Verifies and maintains accurate receivable balances across multiple information systems.

  · Designs, develops, and prepares accurate reports for internal and external clients.

  · Documents policy and procedures relating to accounts receivable collection efforts and billing

  processes.

  · Collaborates with IT department for refining existing billing processes and management reports.

  · Supports in design, testing and production of Medicaid claiming for new projects as required.

  · Provides consultation to billing system design requirements for new projects.

  · Keeps up to date on state business rules for claiming to systems design requirements.

  · Defines scope of system changes and enhancements for an IT development audience.

  · Tests system functionality prior to release of changes to production environment.

  Required Skills:

  · Outstanding PC spreadsheet skills required.

  · Detailed and process improvement oriented.

  · Ability to read and understand technical specifications.

  · Ability to work independently and with a team.

  Qualifications:

  Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent and relevant professional experience in finance/corporate finance. 2+ years’ experience in finance/corporate finance, project management experience preferred

  The base pay listed may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for a performance-based incentive as part of total compensation.
