Cashier

Processes Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payments. Provides excellent member service efficiently and productively. Maintains the overall cleanliness of the front-line department.

Retail Sales Associate / Member Sales Ambassador

Responsible for Executing Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling My BJs Perks. Also responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer services inquiries. Provides excellent and efficient member service.

Recovery Stock Clerk

Responsible for providing members with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing, and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized.

Online Order Filler Omni Experience Ambassador

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and shrink-wrapping packages, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. Omni Experience Ambassador will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, BOPIC Fresh, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club.

Meat Butcher Clerk

Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats. Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses. Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.

Produce Clerk

Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintains the overall environment of the department by providing assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service. Ensures that all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.

Bakery Clerk

Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item’s product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment. Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage instructions. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.

Deli Clerk

Slices, packages, weighs, and sells various deli products, including meats and cheeses. Maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including deli display cases. Provides assistance to Members in the deli department.

Zone Lead – Forklift

Oversees the stocking, rotation, and storage of general merchandise and/or food in the club. Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked. Oversees, trains, and coaches Stock Clerks on club policies and procedures and best merchandising practices.

Overnight Forklift Lead

Oversees the stocking, rotation, and storage of general merchandise and/or food in the club. Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked. Oversees, trains, and coaches Stock Clerks on club policies and procedures and best merchandising practices.

Overnight Forklift Driver

Oversees the stocking, rotation, and storage of general merchandise and/or food in the club. Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked. Oversees, trains, and coaches Stock Clerks on club policies and procedures and best merchandising practices.

Receiver

Responsible for accurately receiving product, support completion of receiving report when required. Maintains standards in the receiving department related to organization, cleanliness, safe operation of forklift, safe product placement, product protection, and cold chain standards.

Tire Bay Technician

Responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing necessary tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.

Front End Lead

Oversees the frontline in the absence of the Front End Manager. Coaches, teaches and develops all frontline team members to ensure excellent member service. The Front End Lead teaches, develops and motivates all team members for the successful execution of membership programs and initiatives as well as front line operations. The FEL is responsible for monitoring, driving and coaching for desired membership/member experience goals and results. Ensures that all membership products are offered and Member orders/requests are processed in a positive, timely, and efficient manner. The FEL delegates work, monitors staffing and compliance with operational standards. Provides excellent customer service to our Members.

Retail Supervisor

The Person in Charge works closely with the Club Manager and Assistant Club Manager in providing leadership and direction within the club while driving club performance by maintaining policies and procedures, delivering a positive service experience to Members, and providing leadership and direction. Acts as a key holder for the club. The manager is responsible to function as the Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned. While MOD, the manager has responsibility to manage the entire Club, including all Club departments, to ensure excellent Member engagement, to address all concerns brought to the MOD’s attention, and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.

Utility Clerk

Responsible for performing general maintenance and cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members. Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance to ensure ready access for club members.
