　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Responsible for the general supervision as well as the clinical performance of the respiratory department including; shift assignments and workload distribution; maintaining Respiratory standards and guidelines; training and orienting staff; providing patient care as needed including call as necessary; performing employee evaluations.

　　Develops departmental policies and procedures; responsible for departmental performance improvement; providing in-service education and training for staff; performing routine equipment calibration and functions checks; maintaining communications with in the department and with other departments; verifying payroll; performing clinical functions within the scope of practice of the department; conducting employee interviews; responsible for meeting CAP regulations

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

　　Associate’s Degree Required, BS Degree preferred.

　　Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care as an Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner.

　　Licensed with the State of Missouri.

　　BCLS affirmation.

　　Three years of relevant clinical experience.
