　　The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring that WuXi’s services meet customer demand while optimizing suite capacity levels and minimizing costs. They role will engage directly with Client Delivery to understand our latest client leads and input them into our forecasting model.

　　Responsibilities

　　• Support Demand planning inputs for S&OP Process

　　• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts through data analysis, statistical modeling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

　　• Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future demand trends.

　　• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and incorporate them into the demand planning process.

　　• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align on demand forecasts and strategies.

　　• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to identify patterns and drivers influencing demand.

　　• Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and methodologies.

　　• Implement best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency in demand forecasting.

　　• Collaborates with finance to determine financial impact for new capacity investments for internal manufacturing sites or supply volume commitments to 3rd party suppliers

　　• Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals

　　• Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and WuXi AppTec Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

　　Qualifications

　　• BS/BA in Science related field preferred; or combination of relevant Experience & Education

　　• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent

　　• Bachelors’ degree in Materials Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience

　　Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

　　• APICs certification is preferred

　　• A minimum of 3 years in any combination of the following disciplines: materials planning master scheduling; inventory management, demand management, and capacity planning is required

　　• Experience with planning, developing & implementing inventory management & production management systems is preferred

　　• Experience with materials management function in a multi-site environment to include demand management (DM), master scheduling (MPS), capacity planning (CRP), material planning (MRP) & inventory control is required

　　• Team leadership, teamwork, communication both oral & written with all levels of organization is required

　　• Analytical & problem solving skills are required

　　• Proficiency with MS Office suite of products required

　　• Experience with MRP systems SAP or JDE required

　　• Up to 10% of travel both domestic and international may be required
