FULL-TIME SENIOR LINKAGE LINE POSITION AVAILABLE (Preference given to those residing in: Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, Meeker, McLeod, Murray, Nobles, Redwood, Renville, Rock, or Pipestone County) Resource Specialist Tier 1 & 2 The Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging has a Senior LinkAge Line Resource Specialist Tier 2 position available. All specialist positions provide phone-based comprehensive, clear, and objective information and assistance to older adults and their family members. This call center position includes providing education and outreach to community groups, providers, and individuals. Candidates must be able to work from a home office and live in one of MNRAAA's 27-counties service area (see website for listing of counties in service area). Preference will be given to those candidates who live in: Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, Meeker, McLeod, Murray, Nobles, Redwood, Renville, Rock, or Pipestone. A Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, nursing, or related human service field is required. Candidates for the Resource Specialist must have one year of professional or internship experience in the social services field, including long-term care, health care, social services or lead agency setting. Degree in social work or nursing requires licensure or demonstrated progress/intent on securing licensure. Hourly range for this position is $21- $24 with great benefits including participation in health, dental, life insurance, Accidental Death & Disability, and long-term disability insurance, subject to different benefit plans.
