Summary

　　Under the direction of the department manager, responsible for the planning, organization, maintenance and documentation of all specialty surgical supplies relative to the department. Works in collaboration with the entire surgical team and maintains effective communication with surgeons, co-workers and manufacturer representatives. Serves as a liaison between the department manager and the vendors. Is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence.

　　Education

　　Must be a high school graduate or equivalent GED. Associate of Science or Surgical Technologist Program preferred, as applicable.

　　Licensure/Certification

　　Certified Registered Central Service Tech certification preferred for CS/OR department positions.

　　Experience

　　2 years minimum experience preferred, with experience in areas such as charging, auditing and operating room, as applicable.

　　Other Qualifications

　　Working knowledge of various computer systems/programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
