  Position is for full time Resident Managers to work for affordable housing properties in Kauai. Onsite housing may be available. Qualified Candidate must have 1+ year of experience in affordable housing property management. Candidates must be familiar with local community programs. Yardi experience a plus. Qualified Candidates will be required to obtain a Hawaii real estate license within 9 months of hire. Salary range: $25.65 - $40.85 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $25.65 - $33.25 per hour, DOE.

  POSITION OVERVIEW

  The Resident Manager I is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. The Resident Manager oversees the day to day operations of the property including administrative, facilities and marketing.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  Collects Rent, Makes Bank Deposits, Prepares and Submits Rent Roll, Verifies IncomeComplies with HUD, TCAC or other regulationsMaintains Waiting List, Prepares and Processes LeasesSupervises on-site StaffProcesses Evictions, Conducts Annual Inspections and Coordinates RepairFor HUD Properties, submits VouchersQUALIFICATIONS

  1+ Year of Property Management ExperienceA ility to Develop and Implement Budgets and Variance ReportsSkills in Resident Problem Solving and Staff ManagementCRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS
