Dematic is looking for Control Room Operator-2 to monitor Electromechanical Automation Software and Hardware using Computer Systems and software. The Control Room Operator-2 will be expected to monitor, identify, document and Dispatch any Stoppages in production, delays in processing Order Requests, Faulted equipment, Faulted locations. Document all issues and/ or Outages within the System. Keep various logs and work processes in computers using Google Sheets or Windows Excel. Assist the Lead Technician with Escalation issues and resolution findings. This is at our Fairburn Georgia Site working on second shift 5pm to 5 am on a 4.5/2.5 rotating shift.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $22.00 to $25.00 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:Perform daily control room tasks with high integrity and efficiency.Monitor the Automation and Delivery systems and report any Long open times for orders to the Lead Technician/Engineers and Manager.Monitor the system and report stoppages in the Automation equipment to the appropriate Technician.Monitor Automation connectivity and productivity and dispatch any issues to the appropriate Technician.Remotely assist technicians in evaluation of storage location availability and load placement data.Remotely assist in the fault resolutions within the Automation by use of Software Human Machine Interfaces.Respond promptly to radio requests and keep accurate records of all communications.Keep a record of all Automation errors, incidents and accidents and record them in the daily logs and other reporting software.Any other duty as directed.

Typically vocational technical training preferredDemonstrate a basic knowledge of a technical or specialty area.Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds eachLong periods of sitting with some regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 poundsHave functional dexterity in both hands and wristsAble to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitationWorking conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfacesMust be able to sit, stand and walk for up to 12 hoursFlexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours is required
