This position will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Isolate and characterize exosomes from different cell sources. Developing an injectable system for bone regeneration in a mouse model. Work on other projects including both federally and industrially funded projects. Help supervisor and research team evaluate methods, suggest alternatives, report progress, discuss, and plan new procedure to aid in the investigation of broad research. Perform data analyses, and present data at national and international conferences, write, and publish peer-reviewed journal articles Supporting the mission of the School and the MDRCBB Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials Required Qualifications BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years Preferred Qualifications Experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques Experience in polymer synthesis and characterization Experience in cell culture and cell imaging Experience in material characterization techniques like SEM, XPS etc Experience in nanoparticle synthesis and characterization Experience in working with polymers and 3D printing About the Department The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is the state's only dental school and the only dental school in the northern tier of states between Wisconsin and the Pacific Northwest.
