Laboratory Technician Category: Life Science Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-369496 Lab Technician needed for a 11 month W2 contract for Food Company in Minneapolis, MN. Hourly Rate: $22.00-$24.00 Shift: 7am-3:30 pm The Laboratory Technician will assist sensory team on various sensory projects including Descriptive Analysis (DA), consumer guidance, difference panels and team tastings. Qualifications: High School Diploma, preferred associates Must have lab experience Must have food safety knowledge Proficient in MS Office Responsibilities: Panel preparations to include making up references, sample preparation, setting up panel room for training/testing, serving samples, and preparing ad hoc references as needed Maintain cleanliness of lab in compliance with Food Safety, EHS, and PPE policies, completing the Master Sanitation checklist on a weekly basis Assist with restocking the panel room, booth area, and sensory labs, taking a weekly inventory of supplies to be ordered, and placing all the orders to include instacart order Assist panel leaders in keeping project spreadsheets up to date, making up feedback charts for panelists, and help with reports in addition to other data entry Yoh makes finding and applying for jobs simple.
