　　Job Description Summary

　　The position involves conducting experiments in the Bartman lab which works on cancer and immune cell metabolomics. The candidate will: (1) perform metabolomics experiments and routine mass spectrometry maintenance, (2) carry out mouse husbandry and genotyping, and (3) assist with ordering lab supplies and keeping the lab organized. The candidate must be comfortable with the daily handling of mice. Techniques include: mass spectrometry (LC-MS) to measure metabolites, routine LC-MS maintenance, mouse husbandry, mouse colony maintenance, mouse genotyping, mammalian cell culture.

　　Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Previous training in animal (mouse) handling, cell culture techniques and basic molecular biology is preferred. Candidate must be highly motivated and have excellent organizational skills.
