Ensures timely delivery of proposals, budgets, and all other requests to collaborating institutions, colleges, and NIOSH. Develops and negotiates final budgets for NIOSH review. Liaison with NIOSH regarding budget reports and changes.The Director Assistant manages relations with UK’s Office of Sponsored Projects Administration and provides general oversight of centers’ employees interactions with RFS, college and campus departments. Ensures all sponsor and University guidelines are followed regarding administration of all grants within both centers. Coordinates grant renewal and participation to ensure continuation of both centers.The Director Assistant is expected to meet with other national centers’ from around the United States and represent UK’s CARERC and SCAHIP centers at national NIOSH meetings. Promotes work of the CARERC and SCAHIP centers at local and national events. Ensures any digital media is properly representing the centers to ensure a steady flow of communication to the community.This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some amount of remote work.This is a fully grant funded position.Skills / Knowledge / Abilitiesbudgeting, project management, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, SAPDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
