Laboratory analysis is integral to nutrition research; this position functions to ensure high quality, timely laboratory analyses and other support functions for our research mission.Duties include, but are not limited to: Chemical analyses of biological samples collected in animal nutrition experiments. Data calculation, organization, and dissemination of results to researchers within deadlines. Collection of biological samples (plant and animal) for specific research studies. Lab inventory and maintenance; routine maintenance and minor repair of laboratory equipment/instrumentation.Timely ordering of necessary supplies and reagents. Train students (graduate students and undergraduate student workers) in proper use of equipment and analytical techniques.
